
Credit: Joel BernsteinTom Petty and the Heartbreakers have added a new date to their 40th anniversary tour: a headlining performance on the first day of the inaugural Arroyo Seco Weekend festival, which takes place June 24-25 outside of the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, California. Folk-influenced U.K. rockers Mumford & Sons will headline the second day of the fest.
The event’s eclectic lineup also includes such veteran artists as British blues great John Mayall, New Orleans legends The Meters, longtime Jackson Browne collaborator David Lindley and soul singer William Bell.
In addition, the bill includes Live, Weezer, Alabama Shakes, current Neil Young backing group Lukas Nelson & Promise of the Real, Fitz and the Tantrums, The Shins and Dawes.
