
Credit: Jess GriffinHeart frontwoman Ann Wilson launched a U.S. solo tour earlier this month, and now the powerhouse vocalist is giving fans the chance to check out one of her upcoming shows for free online. The Rock & Roll Hall of Famer’s concert at the House of Blues in New Orleans this Sunday, March 19, will be streamed live from 10 p.m. to midnight CT at the Eventbrite website.
To watch the performance, simply register at Eventbrite.com. The Ann Wilson of Heart Tour kicked off March 8 in the singer’s hometown of Seattle and runs through an April 7 gig in Cranston, Rhode Island.
During the trek, Wilson is performing Heart classics, cover songs by some of her favorite artists and material from her solo releases. Her backing band includes Heart guitarist Craig Bartok, who also played with Wilson’s recent side project The Ann Wilson Thing; Ann Wilson Thing bassist Andy Stoller; and drummer/percussionist Denny Fongheiser, who was a member of Heart during the 1990s.
Speaking about the tour before it got underway, Ann said, “People can expect the unexpected in 2017. A beautiful, classy set with an elegant, artistic production…The music will be a mix of songs that have powered my life.”
