Mick Fleetwood, Pat Benatar, Don Felder among stars set to perform at 2017 Acoustic-4-a-Cure benefit

Courtesy of Acoustic-4-a-CureThe lineup has been revealed for the 2017 edition of Acoustic-4-a-Cure, the annual benefit concert co-founded by Sammy Hagar and Metallica‘s James Hetfield.  Among the stars slated to take part are Fleetwood Mac‘s Mick Fleetwood, Pat Benatar & Neil Giraldo, ex-Eagles guitarist Don Felder, and The Grateful Dead‘s Bob Weir.

As usual, Hagar also will perform at the show, although Foo FightersDave Grohl will fill in for Hetfield, who will be on tour with Metallica in May. Other artists on the bill include Sarah McLachlan and and rock-guitar virtuoso Steve Vai.

Tickets for the Acoustic-4-a-Cure IV show will go on sale Friday, March 31, at 10 a.m. PT via LiveNation.com. There’s a two-ticket limit per person. In addition, a limited number of VIP packages will be available offering premium seats, a commemorative poster and T-shirt, complimentary food and drinks, and more.

The event features the various artists performing acoustically, and includes unique duets, jams and surprise guest appearances. The Acoustic-4-a-Cure concerts raise funds for and awareness of the pediatric cancer program at UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital in San Francisco.
