
Jay Blakesburg; Myriam SantosSome interesting additions to the 2017 Lockn’ Music Festival have been revealed, including Grateful Dead singer/guitarist Bob Weir and John Fogerty.
Weir will join Grateful Dead bassist Phil Lesh and Lesh’s group The Terrapin Family Band for their previously announced performance of the 1977 Dead album Terrapin Station, in honor of the record’s 40th anniversary. That performance is scheduled for August 25, while Fogerty will play the next day.
In addition, Lesh’s previously announced appearance with his Phil Lesh & Friends collective that’s scheduled for August 27, the festival’s final day, now also will feature the jam band moe., with the collaboration being billed as phil.moe.
Among the other acts confirmed to perform at this year’s Lockn’ fest are Gov’t Mule, Widespread Panic, Umphrey’s McGee, The String Cheese Incident, Margo Price, Brandi Carlile and The Avett Brothers.
