ABC/Randy HolmesFounding Beach Boys mastermind Brian Wilson has extended his long-running tour celebrating the 50th anniversary of his old band’s acclaimed 1966 Pet Sounds album into the fall.

Wilson has added a series of European summer dates followed by a new North American leg running from a September 15 concert in Moncton, Canada, through an October 14 show in Costa Mesa, California.

Tickets for the new shows will go on sale to the general public beginning this Friday, May 12, while VIP pre-sale tickets are available now.

Wilson’s Pet Sounds 50th Anniversary World Tour got underway in the spring of 2016. The shows feature Brian and his backing band performing the classic 1966 album in its entirety, as well as a set of classic Beach Boys hits. Joining Wilson on the trek are founding Beach Boys singer/guitarist Al Jardine and former Beach Boys singer Blondie Chaplin.

“We are blown away by the reception of this tour, it’s unbelievable how many people love this album,” says Wilson. “The audiences have been so fantastic and we are honored to play for them. We never expected this reaction so we will continue to perform this album for people as long as they ask us to!”

Brian is in the middle of a spring U.S. leg of his Pet Sounds trek that runs through a May 28 show in Santa Barbara, California. Wilson also will play a June 15 concert in Honolulu before kicking off the European portion on the trek on June 29 in Odense, Denmark.
