Thirty-nine nurses were honored during the third annual Baxter Choice Awards last week at Baxter Regional Medical Center. The event was part of BRMC Nurses’ Week celebration.
The Baxter Choice Awards are peer nominated awards to honor RNs and LPNs at BRMC for exuding the BRMC I CARE values of integrity, compassion, accountability, respect and excellence. There were 100 nominees and 39 award recipients. Awards were presented by Shannon Nachtigal, BRMC VP/Chief Nursing Officer.
Beverly Crabb, 4 South, and JoAnna Dean, Director of Clinical Excellence/Magnet Program Director, Nursing Administration, won the Servant’s Heart Award. This award is given each year to a BRMC nurse that sets an excellent example for the rest of the nursing staff, inspires coworkers and excels in nursing.
