The Dollar General Literacy Foundation recently announced it is awarding nearly $128,000 in literacy grants to nonprofit organizations, libraries and schools in Arkansas, and an organization located in Mountain Home will be one of the recipients for the eighth-consecutive year. The Twin Lakes Literacy Council is being awarded $3,500 for its Adult English Learners program.
Twin Lakes Literacy Council Director Nancy Tester says the organization was excited to receive the grant since the program it’s benefitting has students from around the globe in attendance.
