2 hurt after street sweeper crashes into Benton County home

(AP) – Authorities say a woman and an infant were injured after a
street sweeper crashed into a home in Benton County.The Northwest Arkansas Democrat-Gazette reports that Benton County crews were
cleaning roads and filling pot holes Tuesday morning when the machine crashed
into the home in the Monte Ne area. Authorities say the machine pinned the
infant and woman in the home, and it took about 30 minutes to extricate them.Rogers Fire Chief Tom Jenkins says both were seriously injured and taken to a
hospital.

Another child who was in the home wasn’t injured.
