Four recent area high school graduates and two area coaches will be at the University of Central Arkansas in Conway for Thursday’s Arkansas High School Coaches Association All-Star Basketball Games.
The girls’ game tips off first at six p.m. Kennedy Cooper will represent Izard County on the East squad. For the West, Ashlynn Taylor of Valley Springs and Cassie Emerson of Jasper will be on the roster, and Mountain View’s Casey Scribner will serve as an assistant coach.
The boys’ contest will follow later on. Taylor Reynolds of Izard County will play for the East team, and Jasper’s Steve Lynch will be one of the West’s assistant coaches.
Both games will be held in the Farris Center.
