A Desoto, Missouri woman, 24-year-old Marian Piatchek, was extradited to Marion County Wednesday evening in connection with an aggravated robbery incident in July.

Marion County Sheriff Clinton Evans says the arrest stems from an altercation on July 16 in Summit. When deputies arrived at the residence, the victims said they had been beaten and robbed at gunpoint by an individual they identified as Piatchek and two other individuals, one black male and another individual wearing a hoodie and gloves.

While Piatchek and the black male conversed with the victims, the other individual came through the door with two handguns and began demanding money. Both victims said they were “pistol whipped” and received serious injury.

All three suspects left the residence in an unknown direction, in an unknown vehicle before deputies arrived. The suspects took a handgun, money, and a cell phone.

Sheriff’s investigators tracked Piatchek to an address in DeSoto, Missouri where Jefferson County Sheriff’s officers took her into custody.

She has been charged with aggravated robbery and residential burglary, both felony offenses, along with misdemeanor theft.

Piatchek is currently awaiting her first appearance in Marion County Circuit Court in lieu of a $10,000 cash only bond.

Sheriff Evans says as the investigation continues, additional arrests are expected.
