A Marion County man, 47-year-old Robert Depriest of Yellville, is being held on felony drug charges after he failed to report to the Marion County jail.
According to the arrest affidavit, two Marion County officers began a search for Depriest after he failed to report after being released on his own recognizance for medical conditions.
When the officers located Depriest and executed a traffic stop, an inventory of his vehicle revealed a glasses case with syringes inside.
Depriest was charged with possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia. His bond was set at $10,500. He entered a not guilty plea to the charges in Marion County Circuit Court on Wednesday.
