A Mountain Home woman, 38-year-old Therese Taecker, was booked into the Baxter County Detention Center early Tuesday morning on felony drug charges after her vehicle was stopped for a traffic violation.

Mountain Home Police Chief Carry Manuel says Taecker was traveling on Hwy. 201 North when she was stopped. She was unable to provide identification and her license was found to be suspended, leading to her arrest.

During inventory of the vehicle she was driving, officers found digital scales with narcotic residue, unused small baggies, syringes loaded with a clear liquid, a bag with a crystalline substance, and $384 in currency. The substance field test positive for methamphetamine and will be sent to the Arkansas State Crime Lab for verification.

Taecker was charged with possession of a controlled substance with purpose to deliver, possession of drug paraphernalia for use of distribution, and possession of drug paraphernalia for use of ingestion, all involving methamphetamine and all felony counts.

Her bond was set at $5,250. She is scheduled to appear in Baxter County Circuit Court in September.
