Norfork had one win as they hosted Izard County for three basketball games on Friday. The senior girls’ game was the lone victory as the Lady Panthers topped the Lady Cougars 67-22. Norfork did not fare as well in the senior boys’ contest as they fell to Izard County 69-39. The evening began with the junior boys’ game as Norfork lost to Izard County 49-21.
It was a rough outing for Yellville-Summit’s as they suffered a 48-40 defeat at Bakersfield. Taylor McFarland and Allyson Weindruch were the Lady Panthers’ leading scorers with 11 points each.
