Baxter Regional Medical Center is again offering the Dr. Robert L. Kerr Medical/Dental Student Scholarship for medical and dental students from the BRMC service area for the 2018-2019 academic year. The goals of the scholarship program are to assist medical and dental students with tuition and encourage them to practice in the hospital’s service area after completion of their medical or dental degree.
Eligible students will need to show proof of enrollment in an accredited medical program leading to a degree of Medical Doctor or Doctor of Osteopathy or an accredited United States dental school leading to a degree of Doctor of Dental Surgery or Doctor of Dental Medicine. Applicants must also demonstrate permanent residence in the BRMC service area made up of Baxter, Marion, Fulton, Izard, Searcy, Stone and Sharp Counties in Arkansas and Ozark County in Missouri. Funding for the scholarship is provided by the Baxter Regional Hospital Foundation.
