Baxter County Judge Mickey Pendergrass has been appointed as a special county judge in the County Court of Marion County. The appointment came from Arkansas Governor Asa Hutchinson.
Pendergrass replaces Marion County Judge Terry Ott, who has disqualified himself from both cases. Judge Ott told KTLO, Classic Hits 101.7 and The Boot news he has recused himself because he knows all the parties involved.
Both cases involve efforts to obtain access to properties.
Cases originating in county court are appealable to circuit court.
