Municipal-level filings continue with deadline in 3 days

Five additional municipal-level filings have been reported in Baxter County this week, with the deadline in just three days.

In Mountain Home, Paige Dillard Evans has filed for the city council seat now held by Nancy Osmon. Osmon is one of three candidates seeking the mayoral seat now held by Joe Dillard, who announced in early 2018 he would not seek re-election. The other candidates are fellow council member Dave Almond and retired postmaster Hillrey Adams.

Also in Mountain Home, City Attorney Roger Morgan has filed for re-election.

At Norfork, incumbent Lovena Gragg became the first member of the city council to file for re-election.

At Lakeview, incumbent Bonnie Galvan has filed for the city council.

At Salesville, incumbent Jared Sorters has filed for re-election.

In Marion County, there is one additional filing to report. Incumbent Summit Mayor Tobey Norberg has filed for re-election.

The filing period for nonpartisan municipal-level offices closes at noon on Friday.
