Capitol NashvilleCarrie Underwood is picking up the tempo with the latest preview of her Cry Pretty album, which comes out next Friday, September 14. The new track, “End Up with You,” is available to stream or download now.

“It’s really fun,” Carrie says in a social media video about the song. “It’s kind of got this cool beat to it that kind of makes you want to dance. But the words are really awesome and the story’s cool, because it’s all about kind of being with the person that you love.”

“And you don’t really care what’s going on around you,” she adds. “You just want to be with that person and it doesn’t matter what your day’s like, as long as it ends with the one that you love.”

“So it’s a love/dance song,” she laughs.

Carrie’s staying close to home these days, as she awaits the arrival of her second child. She was forced to cancel her appearance at The Long Road Festival in the United Kingdom this weekend because she’s sick — Aaron Watson will be stepping in for her. So far, she hasn’t revealed any details about what may be ailing her.
