ABC/Eric LiebowitzLuke Bryan went right from his Crash My Playa fan getaway vacation in the Caribbean to Hawaii to continue shooting the next season of American Idol, and the Georgia native knows how good he has it. “I’m not complaining,” he tweeted.
Since then, he’s been hanging out with fellow judges Lionel Richie and Katy Perry and host Ryan Seacrest at Disney’s Aulani Resort & Spa, with all four sporting appropriate island attire.
“Do y’all think they’ll let me wear this shirt again today?” he joked, along with a photo of a particularly garish black, orange, red and white Hawaiian flowered shirt.
The highlight of the trip so far may be the video of an adorable little girl teaching Luke how to say “I love you” in sign language, which he then adapts into “I love singing.”
“Probably one of the best parts…” he added in his Instagram post.
We’ll be able to see more of Luke’s trip to the islands when the second season of American Idol premieres Sunday, March 3 at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.
