A local woman is among 14 individuals Governor Asa Hutchinson says he intends to grant a pardon.

Governor Hutchinson says he intends to grant a pardon to Teresa Apple of Mountain View. Apple was convicted in Stone County in 2010 of a felony count of conspiracy to furnish prohibited articles and a misdemeanor count of obstructing governmental operations.

The notice of Apple’s intended pardon is issued based on the date of conviction, the fact that all terms of her sentence have been completed and there have been no further criminal-law violations. There are no law enforcement objections to her application.

The applicants intended for pardons have completed all jail time, fulfilled all parole and probationary requirements and paid all fines related to their sentences. There is a 30-day waiting period to receive public feedback on the notices before final action is taken.
