MH Lions Club donates vision screener to Calico Rock schools

Utilizing proceeds from its annual radio/television auction, the Mountain Home Lions Club has donated a spot vision screener to the Calico Rock School District.

The spot vision screener is a handheld, portable device designed to help quickly and easily detect vision issues on patients from children through adults.

Lions Clubs International is an international non-political service organization established originally in 1916 in Chicago by Melvin Jones. It is now headquartered in Oak Brook, Illinois. As of April 2015, it had over 46,000 local clubs and more than 1.7 million members in 190 countries around the world.
