The lineup for the 2020 edition of the Flower Power Cruise has been revealed, and the seagoing festival will feature performances by 1960s legends including The Zombies, The Hollies, Herman’s Hermits and The Turtles.
The fifth annual cruise is scheduled to set sail from Fort Lauderdale, Florida, on March 28, 2020, and will stop on St. Thomas in the U.S. Virgin Islands, Tortola in the British Virgin Islands and Nassau on the Bahamas before returning to port on April 4.
Other confirmed acts who will be performing include The Grass Roots, The Buckinghams, Rare Earth, The Classics IV, Vanilla Fudge, Arlo Guthrie, and The Outsiders.
Next year’s cruise also will feature a variety of special events and activities, including artist Q&As, panel discussions, trivia contests, pool parties, wine-tasting sessions, karaoke, game shows, and themed events, including a “Make Love Not War” vow renewal ceremony for married couples.
As previously reported, the 2019 Flower Power Cruise will launch this March 30 and runs to April 6, visiting St. Maarten and San Juan, Puerto Rico, along the way. The lineup includes The Beach Boys, Tommy James & The Shondells, Jefferson Starship, The Lovin’ Spoonful, Blood, Sweat & Tears, Gary Puckett and the Union Gap, The Yardbirds, Big Brother & The Holding Company, ex-Three Dog Night singer Chuck Negron, The Family Stone, The Ides of March, The Cowsills, The Cyrkle, and The Box Tops. Peter Asher of Peter & Gordon will host the extravaganza.
