2 men charged with killing of airman plead not guilty

NORTH LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) Two men have pleaded not guilty to capital
murder and aggravated robbery charges in connection with a fatal shooting of an
airman at an Arkansas gas station.Little Rock television station KTHV reported Tuesday that a North Little Rock
judge ordered 18-year-old Keith Harris Jr. and 18-year-old Drequan Robinson be
held with no bond.

The men were arrested for the Friday night killing of 23-year-old Shawn
Mckeough Jr., a senior airman stationed at the Little Rock Air Force Base in
Jacksonville.

The Arkansas Democrat-Gazette reported Mckeough, who was from Westbrook, Maine, appeared to have tried to tackle one of the men before he was shot.

Police say investigators believe Harris was a passenger in a getaway vehicle. A
third suspect seen on surveillance footage has not yet been arrested.
