The cause of a fire at a commercial business in the Stone County Industrial Park in Mountain View Friday afternoon leaving two men critically injured remains undetermined.

Mountain View Fire Department Chief Curt Decker tells WhiteRiverNow.com investigators from the Arkansas State Police have been requested to help determine the cause.

Chief Decker says firemen suspect the blaze originated in the manufacturing equipment, due to the nature of the product. Fiber Energy produces wood pellets.

Decker said the two employees were on the roof of the facility attempting to extinguish the blaze when they were injured, apparently from an explosion.

While the employees have not been identified from official reports, social media postings say the two are Paul David Sutterfield and Sean Steiger. The men were airlifted to hospitals in Little Rock and Memphis.

WhiteRiverNow.com reports an account for medical expenses has been set up for Sutterfield at Centennial Bank in Mountain View, while one for Steiger has been established at Stone Bank in Mountain View.
