Tanner Etheridge
Bryar Bone
Two young Mountain Home men both entered not guilty pleas in Baxter County Circuit Court last week on charges stemming from a break-in at one local business and an attempt to get into another.
The men — 19-year-old Tanner Etheridge and 20-year-old Bryar Bone — were both arrested in the early morning hours of Feb. 19th.
According to the probable cause affidavit in the cases, Mountain Home police officers responded to an alarm at the first business and were provided footage from surveillance cameras showing two males in the building allegedly stealing items.
Officers were able to get a physical description of the pair, including details of the clothing they were wearing and a backpack one of them was carrying.
Shortly after the first break-in, police received a report two males were attempting to get into another business. Officers nabbed Etheridge and Bone at the site of the second incident.
Video surveillance at the second business captured the two attempting to get into the building. A knob on a door at the rear of the building had been broken off, and the door itself damaged.
According to the probable cause affidavit, Etheridge admitted to breaking into the first business and stealing money and goods. When officers searched Etheridge they reported finding 10.4 grams of marijuana in his front pocket.
