Baseball and softball make up the local Friday schedule.
The Mountain Home High School baseball team will be Covington, Tennessee, to play two more games in the Best of the West Tournament. The Bombers begin action at 2 p.m. against Hazel Green, Alabama, and they’ll meet Memphis University Studies at 4:30.
Dora and Mammoth Spring will both be in Alton. The Bears get underway at 3:00 against the host Comets, and Dora faces Alton at 5:00 and Mammoth Spring at 7:00.
Elsewhere, Gainesville hosts Sparta.
Mountain Home’s high school softball team is also in Tennessee as they begin the Macon County Tournament with two games in Cookeville. The Lady Bombers take on Father Ryan from Nashville at 4:00 and Macon County at 5:30.
