The Little Rock women’s basketball team is preparing to begin another run in the NCAA Tournament. The Trojans start action Saturday by facing Gonzaga in Corvallis, Oregon.
Little Rock comes into the tournament as the Sun Belt Conference’s regular season and tournament champions. The Trojans are the 12th-seeded team in the Albany Region with a record of 21-10. Gonzaga settled for an at-large bid after losing to BYU in the finals of the West Coast Conference Tournament. The Bulldogs are a No. 5 seed at 28-4 on the year.
Tip-off at Gill Coliseum is scheduled for 2:30. Saturday’s game can be seen on ESPN2 or online at WatchESPN.
