Brian Ziff; ABC/Image Group LAJust one more way Dan + Shay’s star is on the rise: The Grammy-winning duo is headed Down Under this fall to open for pop superstar Shawn Mendes.
They’ll open six dates starting October 23 in Perth, Australia on Shawn’s trek that’s simply known as The Tour.
It’s not the first time the Canadian star has dipped his foot in the country waters: last year, he did an episode of CMT Crossroads with Zac Brown Band.
Dan Smyers and Shay Mooney have already found their own pop success lately, as their #1 country hits “Tequila” and “Speechless” both also crossed over to the pop chart.
