A vice president at Baxter Regional Medical Center is being honored as one of the “Great 100 Nurses” of Arkansas. According to BRMC’s Facebook page, Vice President and Chief Nursing Officer Shannon Nachtigal has been named by the Great 100 Nurses Foundation as a 2019 honoree.
The Great 100 Nurses Foundation was founded 33 years ago in New Orleans, and since then, it has honored thousands of nurses in Arkansas, Louisiana, Oklahoma, Texas and North Carolina. Honorees are selected based on their concern for humanity, contributions to the nursing profession and mentoring of others.
Nachtigal will be honored at the Great 100 Nurses Celebration of Arkansas Tuesday evening in West Little Rock.
