The Norfork School Board will hold a special meeting Thursday evening to hire a new superintendent. The board has had a series of meetings this week to narrow the list of 18 applicants down to the three finalists. The finalists include Steve Morris, assistant high school principal at Mountain Home High School; Chip Layne, superintendent at Mammoth Spring; and Deana Klaus, elementary principal at Norfork.

The board has been searching for a replacement for long time superintendent Mike Seay who told them earlier this year he planned to retire.

The Norfork School Board meeting starts at 5 in the administration building.
