A Harrison woman was killed Monday after her vehicle crashed into a hardware store. According to the Harrison Daily Times, 81-year-old Shirley Horn was pronounced dead after being transported to North Arkansas Regional Medical Center.

A Harrison Police Department log shows a caller reporting a vehicle traveling off U.S. Highway 65 North around 10:30 Monday morning and running through the front window of Thompson’s Ace Hardware. A witness told authorities he saw the vehicle swerve in the southbound lane and veer off the highway. According the report, the vehicle accelerated and crashed through a portable building and some pallets before crashing into the store.

Authorities say it’s possible Horn suffered a medical episode when the wreck occurred.
