The three children reported missing from a Mountain Home apartment complex late Monday night have been found safe. The Arkansas State Police posted to Facebook shortly after midnight saying the three have been found.

The ASP initially issued an alert at 8:45 Monday night asking for the public’s assistance in locating the three, 14-year-olds Shyanne Romine and Talen Marten and 12-year-old Lydia Hall. Shortly after 9, the van the three were believed to be in was spotted in the Kansas City area. Then shortly after midnight, state police canceled  the endangered children alert saying the three were safe.

The Mountain Home Police Department had requested the assistance of the Arkansas State Police, after the three were reportedly last seen Monday at the Keystone Apartments on Arkansas Highway 201 North. Romine’s family vehicle, a green 2001 Dodge Caravan, was observed leaving the complex. It is believed Romine took the van and was accompanied by Marten and Hall.

No other details on why the three allegedly left in the van or about their recovery have been released.
