Police say woman tried to swap marijuana for insulin needles

A Stone County woman, 20-year-old Allyssa Grace Price of Mountain View, has been arrested, after she allegedly tried to swap marijuana for insulin needles.

WhiteRiverNow.com reports court records indicate authorities were notified April 17th Price had contacted a juvenile with diabetes about possibly trading marijuana for the needles. The juvenile reportedly has Type I diabetes. However, the exchange did not occur.

With a description of the vehicle Price was reportedly driving, the Mountain View woman was stopped for alleged traffic violations. Inside the vehicle, officers from the Mountain View Police Department allegedly located methamphetamine and marijuana.

Price has been charged with felony possession of meth and a misdemeanor count of possession of a controlled substance, marijuana. Her bond was set at $50,000.
