Humane Society receives $20,000 grant from Petco Foundation

The Humane Society of North Central Arkansas is being recognized nationally for its success in its mission to save pets’ lives. The local no-kill shelter has received a $20,000 grant from the Petco Foundation to extend its ability to support the lifesaving efforts in the Twin Lakes Area.

Since 1999, the Petco Foundation has invested more than $250 million in lifesaving animal welfare work. The foundation has over 4,000 animal welfare partners, and through its “Think Adopion First” program, it partners with Petco stores and animal welfare organizations throughout the United States to increase pet adoptions.
