A local real estate company is celebrating 50 years in business this week. Gilbert Realty opened its doors in 1969 when Ron Gilbert started the business in the former KTLO building on State Highway 5 north in Mountain Home. The company moved to its current location on U.S. Highway 62 West in 1978.
Current owner Joan Gilbert joined the company in 1972. She says a lot has changed since Gilbert Realty first opened for business.
