A former instructor of development studies at Arkansas State University-Mountain Home has established an endowed scholarship. The scholarship endowed by Suzanne Schmoker Sutherland will be awarded each semester to a student with a financial need pursuing a degree at ASUMH. Sutherland served as an instructor at ASUMH from 1997 until 2009.

The scholarship will provide $1,000 annually to be used for tuition, books or fees, and recipients will be chosen by the ASUMH scholarship committee.

Students must maintain a 2.5 GPA, must submit an application and essay and show determination to finish their degree.

For more information on this scholarship and other opportunities at ASUMH, contact Development Officer Mollie Morgan at 870-508-6191.
