Salem Public Schools All-Class Reunion set for Saturday

The sixth annual Salem Public Schools All-Class Reunion will be held this weekend in conjunction with the Fulton County Homecoming Festival. Current and past students, teachers and friends of the Salem School District are invited to the Old Main schoolhouse on North Oak Street following the Fulton County Homecoming Festival parade on Saturday.

Alumni and guests are invited to view the ongoing renovations to Old Main. The Friends of Old Main, a non-profit organization, began the project in late 2013, and several community volunteers have participated in the renovations for the building to be used as a community center.

The reunion will include the presentation of Friends of Old Main royalty, tours of the schoolhouse, refreshments and recognition of donors and others involved in the effort to save Old Main. In addition, classrooms for reunions will be reserved for the classes of 1949, 1957, 1959, 1967, 1969, 1979 and 1989.
