A man who has listed addresses in Mountain Home, Midway and Grandview, Mo. in various court documents was in Baxter County Circuit Court last week. Thirty-three-year-old Kyle Krieg entered a guilty plea to charges against him and was put on probation for six years.

His arrest stemmed from a traffic stop by an Arkansas State Police trooper in mid-January.

While the trooper was obtaining information from Krieg, he noticed a pipe in a cup holder in the vehicle commonly used to ingest drugs. Krieg admitted it was a marijuana pipe, but said he had not smoked pot in a number of days.

The trooper placed Krieg in handcuffs and searched the vehicle he was driving. The trooper reported finding a small amount of marijuana, paraphernalia used for the ingestion of drugs, three syringes — one containing a pink liquid — and six pills identified as Oxycodone.

Krieg was sentenced under provisions of Act 346, the first offender’s law, meaning if he stays out of trouble during his probation period, he can apply to the court to have his record sealed.
