A man from Jasper was killed in a one-vehicle accident Monday morning in Newton County. The Arkansas State Police identify the victim as 30-year-old John Hampton.
ASP says the crash happened when Hampton was negotiating a curve, and his vehicle ran off the road and struck a tree.
The accident occurred on Highway 16, west of Nail.
