A pair of suspects involved in an alleged robbery attempt in Douglas County have been located and taken into custody. According to KYTV/KSPR, authorities arrested a male suspect almost immediately, and a female suspect was later found after fleeing on foot.
Douglas County Sheriff Chris Degase says the incident occurred Sunday in the Squires area when the suspects reportedly approached a man in the woods in the area of County Road 421. The suspects allegedly attempted to attack the victim and steal his truck, but he was able to get away and contact 911.
Sheriff Degase says deputies located the female on a nearby property, next to a barn, yelling for help.
