The disruption to phone service in the Twin Lakes Area is causing connection issues for local businesses and organizations.
A Baxter County 911 spokesperson says the dispatch office is having issues with its service. According to the spokesperson, their phones are being rerouted to keep the service up and running.
The disruption is having an affect on local businesses as well. A spokesperson at US Bank in Mountain Home says despite the phone issues, they are open for business, and patrons can still visit their location on Main Street.
