Authorities have recovered the body of a Branson woman who drowned in Table Rock Lake. According to the Missouri State Water Patrol, 37-year-old Jennifer Arnold was pronounced dead Tuesday morning by the Stone County Coroner.
Arnold was reportedly swimming Monday evening near the east shore of the James River area. Witnesses later lost sight of Arnold, and rescue teams searched for her Monday night and Tuesday morning.
This is the first drowning reported by Troop D for the month and the fourth of the year.
