Crash in Marion County claims life of driver

A one-vehicle accident in Marion County has claimed the life of 42-year-old Christopher R. Kopp of Walnut Ridge.

Marion County Sheriff Clinton Evans says the accident occurred Tuesday evening at approximately 6:30 on County Road 124.

Sheriff Evans says Kopp lost control as he negotiated a curve to the left. The vehicle left the roadway from overcorrecting, striking an embankment.

The accident remains under investigation by the Marion County Sheriffs Office.
