BLYTHEVILLE, Ark. (AP) – Authorities in northeast Arkansas are investigating after a man was found dead on the side of the road.

Jonesboro TV station KAIT reports city mowing crews in Blytheville found
the man’s body Monday afternoon. Blytheville Police Chief Ross Thompson
identified the man as 23-year-old Kevondre Williams, and said his family had recently reported him missing.

Thompson did not release the cause of death but says the case is being
investigated as a homicide.

Authorities say Williams had last been seen on Aug. 13. No arrests have been announced.
