Pediatric therapy center expansion among July building permits

An addition to Kidspiration, a pediatric therapy services facility, located at 1310 Bradley Drive, is among the eight building permits issued by the City of Mountain Home during July, according to Jeannie Anderson from the Building Inspection Department.

The building permit was issued to Gregory Co. for the 5,617-square-foot addition, with a construction value of $582,727.

A permit for a commercial remodel was issued to Mark Bertel Sr. for a commercial remodel of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post, located at 214 East Seventh Street.

The 1,700-square-foot remodel has a construction value of $15,750.

A permit for a commercial addition for the Dels Apartments, formerly known as the Town and Country Motor Inn, located at 145 South Main Street, was also issued to Bertel.

The 42-unit remodel project has a construction value of $40,000.

A residential addition/remodel permit was issued to Russell Blair Construction on behalf of Linda Alvirez for a 432-square-foot bedroom, with a value of $46,000.

Permits were issued for two storage facilities. The first went to Kathryn Harris for a 1,500-square-foot residential storage building, with a construction value of $28,000.

The second went to Donnie Basco for a 192-square-foot commercial storage shed at Ozark Mountain BBQ, located at 20 Paul Wood Lane and valued at $1,500.

Two sign permits were issued in July, both to Oxford Signs and Neon.

The first is for a 4×10 sign at Twin Lakes Animal Clinic, located at 302 South Main Street, with a value of $1,600.

The second is for a pole sign reface at Hobbs Siding and Windows, located at 1038 East Ninth Street, with a value of $800.

Total construction value of the eight permits issued in July was $720,777.

The cost of all permits issued for the month of July totaled $3,867, including the actual cost of building, electric, mechanical and plumbing permits, as well as mowing fees.

The city building and inspection department handled 72 inspections for the month.
