Mountain Home High School graduate Macie Kelly returned to her studies at the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville for the fall after spending the summer as an intern in the U.S. Senator John Boozman’s Washington office.

Senator Boozman recognized the efforts of his 11 college student interns at the end of their five-week stay.

Boozman says,   “These interns have been a great help to the people of Arkansas during their time in Washington. I appreciate their dedication and their commitment to working with the staff to address issues concerning our state. They have taken advantage of the unique opportunities available in the nation’s capital while learning about the legislative process and how my team serves the people of the Natural State.”

Kelly graduated from Mountain Home High School in 2016. She is studying agricultural education, communications, technology and agricultural leadership at the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville.
