The Food Bank of North Central Arkansas’s Bridge Bash for 2019 has been one of its most, if not the most, successful fundraiser in the organization’s history, as they were able to surpass their goal. Food Bank CEO Jeff Quick says 551,243 meals were provided through fundraising.

The crowd at Bridge Bash was entertained by several performances on the main stage headlined by Nashville recording artist Dan Smalley. Quick says in addition to the music, Smalley also provided his services in the meal-packaging tent.

Quick says the Food Bank also raised $78,000 in monetary donations to provide 546,000 meals.

For anyone unable to attend the festival, the opportunity to donate through Bridge Bash will remain available through the end of October. Donations can be made to the Food Bank of North Central Arkansas or another local agency, food shelter or backpack program. The food bank is also matching dollar-for-dollar all money raised for its food pantries and programs.
