Mountain Home schools are seeing slightly more students in classes this year compared to last year. Superintendent Dr. Jake Long says according to the report presented to the school board Thursday night, there are 80 more students enrolled in Mountain Home schools this year. The enrollment numbers show 3,955 students this year, while last year the number was 3,875 in September. That equates to a two percent increase.

Long says he believes the many positive things happening in Mountain Home schools are attracting the new students.
