Basketball makes up much of the local Thursday schedule.
On the high school level, the Twin Rivers Classic continues at Norfork, and the host teams will get the action started at 4 p.m., with a doubleheader against Concord. Another doubleheader will start at 6:30 between South Side-Bee Branch and Maynard.
The Bad Boy Mowers Classic will resume at Izard County High School in Brockwell. A doubleheader between Bay and Jacksonville Lighthouse will get started at 3:30, Izard County’s girls will meet Shirley at 5:30, and the Shirley boys face Riverside at 6:30, and Calico Rock will play back-to-back games against Maynard at 7:30.
In other high school basketball, St. Joe travels to St. Paul.
On the junior high level, Cotter makes the trip to Jasper, Flippin heads to Omaha, and Bergman travels to Alpena.
