After first announcing the cancellation of its regularly scheduled meeting Thursday evening, late Wednesday afternoon Mountain Home city officials advised the council will meet at 6 to consider one item of business.
The council will consider amending an ordinance regarding municipal parking fees. The amendment does not involve a rate adjustment.
While not on the agenda, the council is expected to follow a recommendation from the Arkansas Municipal League and act on the resignation of Treasurer Rita Murray. Murray submitted her resignation last week.
The meeting will be held in the council chambers of the Municipal Building.
