Jen Rosenstein; Robert YagerKISS fans planning to see the band rock ‘n’ roll all night next year on their End of the Road farewell tour’s final legs might as well jump too, since Van Halen frontman David Lee Roth has joined the trek as the opening act.
According to a press statement, Roth “will bring his exciting stage show featuring a twin guitar big rock sound and a set list of classic hits and future energy.”
As previously reported, KISS’ End of the Road trek’s 2020 itinerary gets underway February 1 in Manchester, New Hampshire, with the first leg winding down on March 15 in Biloxi, Mississippi. The band’s second U.S. leg runs from an August 28 show in Burgettstown, Pennsylvania, through an October 2 concert in Fort Worth, Texas.
KISS also has announced that the finale of the trek will take place on July 17, 2021, in New York City at an as-yet-unconfirmed venue.
In addition to Roth’s stint on the KISS trek, the singer has lined up a previously reported 2020 Las Vegas residency at the House of Blues that features three shows in early January and six performances in late March. He also will play the Epicenter festival on May 1 in Concord, North Carolina.
